It is my privilege to serve as Chair for this year’s conference, bringing together leaders, like-minded individuals, and industry partners to explore the intersection of healthcare and technology. I am a clinician, educator, and researcher at Johns Hopkins, with a focus on the health and wellness of trainees and practicing physicians, disaster medicine, global health, climate health, chronic disease prevention, and health informatics.
My background includes residency in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine, as well as an MPH from the Yale School of Public Health. Over the past decade, I have been deeply involved in health policy and organized medicine. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the Council on Science and Public Health (CSAPH) and am a member of the AI Task Force at the American Medical Association (AMA). I have also had the honor of serving as Chair of the International Medical Graduate Section and being elected to the governing council at the AMA. At the state level, I am proud to serve as President of the Maryland Medical Society.
At Health Tech Asia 2025, we will delve into the transformative role of artificial intelligence in patient care, public health, and medical education. I am excited to learn and collaborate with all of you as we advance healthcare together. Welcome!
