Prof. Padmini Ranasinghe

Padmini Ranasinghe, MD MPH is an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, USA. After completing her medical education in Colombo Medical Faculty in Sri Lanka, she completed a residency in combined Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine along with an MPH at Yale School of Public Health. She is a fellow of ACP, ACPM, and SHM. She is a clinician, educator, and researcher. Currently serving as co-director of education in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She teachers and mentors’ medical students, residents, and public health students. Her research interests are in the health and wellness of medical students, residents, and practicing physicians, disaster medicine, climates and health, global health, chronic disease prevention, health informatics/role of AI in health care, and advocacy & policy. At national level, she has been active in American Medical Association (AMA) and has served as chair of the AMA International Medical Graduate Section for 2013-14. She has been elected to serve on the Council on Science and Public Health (CSAPH) and is currently a member of its executive committee. The mission of the council is to represent the AMA’s core belief that scientific evidence is the basis for improving the quality of patient care, promoting medical progress, and enhancing the health of the public. At the state level, she has been elected as the president elect to MedChi, Maryland State Medical Society to represent physicians of Maryland.

Dr. Raman Preet

Dr. Raman Preet is a trained dentist (from India) with a specialization in dental public health (from University College London) and a Master of Public Health (from Umeå University, Sweden). She is currently leading the coordination of the European Union Climate Change and Health Cluster comprised of six projects, representing project IDAlert, funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe scientific research initiative. This includes 100+ research groups from 28 countries with a total of 60 million Euros.

While based at the Department of Epidemiology and Global Health and Unit of Sustainable Health, at Umeå University, she works as a Senior Research Manager. She has more than 25 years of work experience expanding as a clinical dentist, educator, and researcher in global public health and global oral health. During the last 12 years, she has managed the implementation and coordination of multi-disciplinary transnational global health research projects, leading the communication and dissemination work for a larger impact. She is an expert health research project manager and coordinator who actively consults institutions to prepare research grant proposals supporting both the pre-award and post-award grant details.

Dr. Raman advocates for the inclusion of global health across disciplines and professions, by interacting with various health professional groups and teaches global health to medical, dental, and public health students at Umeå University. She lectures nationally and internationally on various topics like sustainable development goals in global health, coordinating collaborations, effective communication, and a systems thinking approach for leading change and development. As a member of the Swedish Society of Medicine’s Committee on Global Health, Dr. Raman supports various efforts in medical education in Sweden and is acknowledged as a global health professional in the ‘Women in Global Health’ Sweden Chapter. She is recognized as a distinguished alumnus by her home institution in India.

Prof. Dr. drg Diyah Fatmasari, MDSc

Prof. Dr. drg Diyah Fatmasari, MDSc, is a distinguished and accomplished figure in the field of dentistry, born on September 10th, 1967, in Semarang. Currently serving as a professor at Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, she has dedicated her career to advancing dental research and education, with a keen interest in Fluoride, Dental Prevention, and Health Insurance.

Her educational journey began at Gadjah Mada University in Jogjakarta, Indonesia, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry in 1991. Continuing her pursuit of academic excellence, Prof. Diyah Fatmasari obtained a Master’s in Health Promotion at the School of Dental Science, University of Melbourne, Australia, between 2000 and 2002. She further enriched her academic profile by completing a doctoral program at the Faculty of Dentistry, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, from 2009 to 2013.

With over three decades of experience, Prof. Diyah Fatmasari has held various significant roles in academia. Since 1992, she has been a dedicated Lecturer in the Department of Dental Hygienist at the Health Polytechnic of Semarang. Her academic contributions extend to the Faculty of Dentistry at Sultan Agung Islamic University of Semarang since 2008 and the Master’s program in Applied Science at the Health Polytechnic of Semarang since 2014. Currently, she also serves as a lecturer at the faculties of dentistry at Unisula, Unimus, and Undip in Semarang.

Prof. Diyah Fatmasari’s commitment to teaching innovation is noteworthy, as she disseminates educational material via her YouTube channel. Her academic prowess is reflected in her impressive rankings, holding the second position in the SINTA score at Poltekkes Semarang, with notable H-index scores in Google Scholar (H-index: 12) and Scopus (H-index: 1).

Beyond academia, she has made substantial contributions to the field through various research projects and products. Notable among these is her patented KAFA CREAM. Her innovative dental products include AMDK F (Water Drinking Fluoridation), KAFA GEL (Gel for Reducing Tooth Sensitivity), TOM AND BERRY GEL (Tooth Bleaching from Tomato and Strawberry), DESINFEKTAN “ALOYEMON” (Instrument Desinfectant from Aloe Vera and Lemon), and the AGITA application for child dental care.

Prof. Diyah Fatmasari has been consistently recognized for her outstanding contributions, receiving the National Scientific Work Award from BPJS in 2022. Her involvement extends beyond research, with active engagement in community services, evidenced by the copyright certification for her initiatives. Notably, the results of her community service project, MOGIGU, have been published on her YouTube channel, amassing a viewership of more than 6.4 thousand.

Demonstrating her commitment to quality control in health assurance, Prof. Diyah Fatmasari serves as the Secretary of the Team Quality Control of Health Assurance at BPJS. She also holds the prestigious position of Chief of the Indonesian Dental Association in Semarang, showcasing her leadership in the professional dental community.

In addition to her numerous roles, Prof. Diyah Fatmasari actively contributes to “Buletin SDM Kesehatan,” providing insightful opinions on healthcare personnel development. Her multifaceted involvement in the academic community is further highlighted by her roles as an editor, reviewer, and peer reviewer for national and international journals. These roles underscore her dedication to maintaining high research standards and contributing to the scholarly community.

Isanka P.Gamage is the Co-founder and Managing Director of The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) Based in Sri Lanka. He is the founding manager of three international journals and has served as the Conference Convener for over 350 international Conferences organized in 8 Countries namely Sri Lanka, China, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and virtually. He has initiated and engaged with many different online and offline knowledge-sharing platforms to make a sustainable future. In his journey thus far, he has had the privilege to closely work with many world-renowned personalities as the Nobel Laureates, Subject Gurus, and also with over 450 International universities and has been in the lights of more than 2000 leading Professors across the globe on several fields of study. He has also had the honor of working with the Ministries, Diplomats, industry professionals, and international organizations in different countries.

As a founding member and CEO of a few consortiums and associations in Education, Public Health, Environment, Women and Gender, Social Sciences, Fisheries and Aquaculture, and Disability and Rehabilitation, he is serving to Asian and African regions to achieve their Sustainable Development Goals by connecting his network in Western countries and trying to implement the concept of knowledge diplomacy.

He is a life coach and mentoring practitioner with Neuro-Linguistics Programming (NLP). And also, he is conducting mindfulness training programs locally and internationally.

He is reading for Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. He has completed the Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration (CEMBA) and BSc Marketing. He also has a Bachelor of Therapeutic Counseling from The Open International University for Complementary Medicines.
